Across the programme there are captioned, BSL interpreted and audio described performances, as well as other access provisions.
Event-specific access information is listed in a dedicated ‘Access’ section on each event page and performance-specific access provisions are also listed on the Schedule page.

Your experience and content guidance
Each event page also has a ‘Your Experience‘ section with a brief overview of what to expect from the event. There is also a ‘Content guidance‘ section to give you a sense of the show content.
Transform has an open door policy across the festival, meaning ticket holders are free to come and go as they need. If at any point you need to leave a Transform show you are welcome to do so.

Carriageworks Theatre

Please note, at Carriageworks Theatre, accessible tickets can be bought online at Leeds Ticket Hub or over the phone on 0113 376 0318. Wheelchair spaces need to be booked over the phone.
Lift access is available to all levels.
An accessible toilet with baby change facilities is available on levels 1, 2 , 3 & 4.

Howard Assembly Room

For people registered with Howard Assembly Room’s Access Scheme, you can book wheelchair spaces online with the venue. For others wishing to book a wheelchair space, please book via the Howard Assembly Room Box Office team at [email protected] or over the phone on 0113 223 3600 (phonelines open Monday–Friday, 12–6pm).
Access to the venue is through the new Howard Assembly Room foyer on New Briggate. There is a platform lift to get into the atrium and a front of house lift which goes to all floors including the Howard Assembly room (number 2 in the lift).
Two wheelchair accessible toilets can be found on Level 1 of the Howard Assembly Room. All toilets are gender neutral.

There is step-free access to the space.
Leeds Kirkgate Market has a Changing Places facility and accessible toilets in the male and female bathrooms. The key for the Changing Places facility can be obtained from the Community and Library Hub in the 1981 hall near the central bathrooms.

Leeds Playhouse

There are electric wheelchair accessible lifts available to all floors.
There are eight accessible toilets, a changing place and family cubicles available.
There are eight accessible wheelchair spaces available in both the Quarry and Courtyard theatres (more usually available on request).

Leeds School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University

Leeds School of Arts is located off Portland Way in central Leeds (the building is adjacent to the Leeds Civic Hall/LGI).
There will be signage displayed outside the building directing you to the theatre.
There is step free to access to both the Black Box Theatre and the Main Theatre.
There are accessible toilets on every floor.
A rest area is available.
Getting to Leeds School of Arts
Leeds School of Arts is located off Portland Way in central Leeds (the building is adjacent to the Leeds Civic Hall/LGI). There will be signage displayed outside the building directing you to the theatre.
Outlaws Yacht Club

Wheelchair spaces can be booked in the front row on the level access auditorium floor directly with the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre team. You must book wheelchair spaces over the phone with the venue, on 0113 220 8000.
There is an automatic door at the entrance to the building.
There is level access to the foyer and auditorium.
There are accessible toilet facilities (alarmed and with help assist).
There are allocated spaces for wheelchair users available in the auditorium.
There is a hearing induction loop at Reception and in the auditorium.
There are braille signs in the building.
There is lift access to all floors of the building.

The Warehouse in Holbeck

Getting to The Warehouse in Holbeck
If you are driving, there is on-street parking available on Ingram Road.
Please note that the other surrounding streets are residents-only.
Blue badge holders are welcome to park on Crosby Street.
The venue encourages you to use public transport, cycle, walk or wheel wherever possible. You will be able to store any bicycles inside the venue. The closest bus stop is called Holbeck – Pleasant Place on Domestic Street, which is 5 minutes walk from the venue. Routes 55, 55C 65, 75, 86, 87 and R1 stop and collect from the stop.
