Great news – Transform has been awarded £10,000 from the WYCA Unlimited Micro Capital Access Grant scheme, which supports projects and venues across West Yorkshire to improve accessibility for disabled artists and audiences.

This grant will support us to purchase captioning equipment for our biennial international festivals. The equipment’s not just for us though – we’re going to share it via an access-focused resource-sharing network for artists and organisations in West Yorkshire.

The funding means we can continue building on our commitment to making our festival accessible and offer captioning on a wider range of the work we present.

We’re delighted to be recognised and supported in this way by Unlimited. For Transform 23, their input was invaluable in shaping our approach to access and we want to thank them for their work and commitment to improving access across West Yorkshire’s cultural ecology.
