12 Last Songs – FAQs

Do I have to attend the performance at a particular time?

If your tickets are from 12pm, you are free to attend the performance at whatever time you’d like from 12noon. If your tickets are from 7pm, you are free to attend the performance at whatever time you’d like from 7pm onwards. Last entry is at 11pm.

How long can I stay?

You are free to stay for as long as you wish. The performance runs 12 noon until 12 midnight.

Can I leave and re-enter the performance?

Yes, you may leave and re-enter the performance as many times as you wish. Last entry is at 11pm.

With current government guidelines and public safety in mind, however, we have identified a maximum on-stage capacity meaning that at peak times you may be asked to take your seat in a different area in the auditorium to avoid over-crowding. Wherever you are seated, you will be able to see what’s happening on stage, and as and when on-stage seating becomes available, you will be invited to move.

Is the performance suitable for my child?

The age guidance for this performance is 12+, however we do recognise that some children are more mature than others. As the child’s parent and/or primary care giver we ask that you use your personal discretion to judge whether the performance is suitable for/will be enjoyed by your child. Please be advised that ‘12 Last Songs’ is unscripted, and therefore we do not know what subjects may arise during the performance. It is possible there may be nudity. If you would like to know more about what is included within the show, please speak to the Front of House team.

I intend to stay at the performance for a long period of time, can I bring food with me?

You will not be able to bring food with you to eat on stage, but you are welcome to leave and re-enter the performance as many times as you wish, so may take food breaks outside of the performance space.

Is the performance wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the space is fully wheelchair accessible.

Will BSL interpreters be present throughout the performance?

Yes, BSL interpreters will be present throughout the performance.

So that we can best tailor the experience for you, please do identify yourself to a member of our Front of House team on the day of the performance so they can ensure you are seated in the best position for accessing the BSL interpretation.

I, or someone I care for, have sensory processing needs and I’m currently unsure whether this performance is accessible. Can you provide more information regarding the sound and lighting design?

There will be no strobe lighting used during this performance. There may be loud music at times, and due to the unscripted and somewhat unpredictable nature of the work, it cannot be defined as a ‘Relaxed Performance’. However, audiences are free to leave and re-enter the performance as many times as they wish; and position themselves at a seat wherever they feel most comfortable.
