WEDNESDAY 26 SEPTEMBER 10.30am-12.30pm
How can festivals act as a space to invent new futures and reimagine our cities?
Join Transform and special guests for a mid-week brunch and discussion, as part of our British Council supported exchange with Fusebox (Austin) and some inspirational UK festivals.
Fusebox began as an underground phenomenon 14 years ago and has grown into a citywide celebration, featuring artists from around the world. We had the privilege of experiencing one of their incredible festival editions earlier this year, along with some of our UK festival colleagues
from Fierce (Birmingham), Take Me Somewhere and Buzzcut (Glasgow), GIFT (Gateshead) and Block (London).
Now, we’re thrilled to be joined by Fusebox’s Executive and Artistic Director Ron Berry and Curator Anna Gallagher-Ross in Leeds, along with some of the participating UK festival directors, for this intimate brunch and chat.
Join us for a Bloody Mary and a bite to eat, hear more about these unique models, and discuss the possibilities that festivals offer today.
Tickets are free and brunch is included. Limited capacity, book here.
Supported by Arts Council England and the British Council.
